Alice Merlino - Project Manager
Alice is involved in several aspects of Tracker I-9 as the Project Manager. When serving as the Tracker I-9 Implementation Project Manager, she coordinates the technical and support team members to ensure seamless integrations, smooth transitions from old systems, and on-time Go Live dates. As the Project Manager of Tracker I-9 Releases, she acts as an advocate for clients’ feature requests, schedules and leads development department resources, and determines the scope and design of the Release. Alice amassed eight years of experience as a web developer before joining Tracker.
Brian Fancher - Director of Product and Best Practices
Brian has a unique blend of practical and professional experience with I-9 and immigration rules. He worked as a legal professional at one of the nation’s highest volume immigration law firms, and he served as General Manager of a major retail chain with stores and employees all over the U.S. From both perspectives, Brian has been instrumental in Tracker’s product design, procedures, reporting and training to keep organizations compliant with I-9 and immigration laws. He monitors the ever-changing landscape of E-Verify, I-9 and immigration best practices, and benchmarks regularly with many of the nation’s most respected employers on the most effective systems and processes. Brian holds a BA in Communication from the University of San Francisco.
Dan Biewener - Marketing Director
With two decades of experience in advertising and corporate marketing, Dan drives more than Tracker's corporate marketing, advertising and public relations. He also helps provide I-9 compliance, E-Verify and immigration law related educational services for customers, including informative articles, presentations and videos. Winner of a dozen advertising industry awards, he was the Creative Director for one of
Advertising Age's "Top 10 Fastest Growing Ad Agencies." An aerobatics pilot, Dan previously served as the International Student Coordinator for one of the nation's leading aeronautics schools. He has a BA in Communications from the University of Nevada, Reno and currently volunteers as a writing tutor for at-risk students in San Francisco for the 826 Valencia Foundation.
Ian McPherson - IMS Sales Manager
A seasoned expert in helping corporations, universities and attorneys achieve greater efficiency and cost savings through software, Ian manages sales of both the Tracker Immigration and I-9 products. He comes from a background in software sales beginning at Autonomy Corporation, where he focused on litigation management and archiving compliance software, and more recently at Innotas, concentrating on project management software. He works closely with Tracker marketing and customer success teams. Ian also serves as Board President of Variety Children's Charity of Northern California and he holds a BS in Public Relations from Northern Arizona University.
Lorri Leon - IMS Requirements Manager
Lorri plays an integral part of the ImmigrationTracker development team, helping to inform our engineers about all the ways the software is utilized in practice, as well as writing our customer-facing documentation with terms that are intuitive for the user. With over a decade of experience in HR, US Immigration, and Global Mobility, she has seen the immigration case management field from every perspective. She has served in HR and as a corporate client, viewing the ImmigrationTracker Portal while her outside counsel prepared cases. She has also prepared and filed cases for her former employer, Infosys Consulting, where she created and managed the global immigration function and served as a paralegal on a wide range of cases, with a 100% success rate on H1B and L1 applications. Lorri attended UC Santa Cruz, where she majored in Philosophy, and has a strong passion for communications and being involved with the legal aspects of the business world. She has traveled the world, including Europe, Morocco, and Turkey.
Rob Ruetsch - Senior Software Engineer
With more than a dozen years of architecting and managing software design and websites, Rob now provides leadership on technology options and decisions for all Tracker Corp products, especially ImmigrationTracker. Rob mentors Tracker's development team by providing code reviews, weekly technical seminars, coding style and best practices documentation, and other advising, including guiding Tracker clients in Single Sign-on implementation. Most recently at Dolby Laboratories, Rob was the Solutions Delivery Manager for Web and Collaborative Services, managing Dolby's financially significant customer-facing web applications, internal web sites and web applications. He has also worked for Excite@Home, Out of the Blue Design, and GameDAILY as a web developer and producer of interactive video game advertisements in Flash. In his free time, Rob continues to study German, having attended the GLS Sprachenzentrum in Berlin, Germany.
Sue Spescha - Director of Client Relations
Backed by her law degree and experience in running the immigration department of a successful law firm, Sue Spescha brings tremendous first-hand knowledge—from both sides of the immigration process. A tri-national who has lived and worked in a number of countries & continents, including Italy where she studied Italian at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia. Sue graduated summa cum laude in Public Relations & Marketing and earned her LLB from the University of Cape Town (UCT). During her corporate and law firm work, she has personally used a number of available IMS systems, giving her a unique advantage in client relations when it comes to strategic troubleshooting, streamlining or training: she speaks your language.
